Privateer Day Coming soon

So after my birthday festivities coming soon there is Privateer Day the same day, which is just a nice way to say Pirates who were legally allowed to Steal.  

It is funny, lots of people are dressed up like pirates.  I hope we get to see them as we come back from a day of drinking

SNOW DAYS

So sometimes I wish I lived a little further from work so on days like today I could claim I couldn't come in because of the conditions of the roads.  I mean I have conditions of the sidewalks and even though they are treacherous they don't really compare.

 

This was my door yesterday inside my courtyard.  This obviously gets exposed the the elements but normally I just have to look at them I don't usually have to be incorporated in them until I actually get outside.  This is covered by the next floor up and is about 4 ft from the edge of the walkway above the courtyard.

So to try to keep up to date with everyone's life and maybe up to date with my life...

The snow has immobilized all of the city pretty much.  The only thing that it seems anyone can really do is drink and maybe talk about going to work.  I know I went to work but it is different when you live so close.  But then again because of the snow I still can't get my car fixed and I can't think about getting it fixed until the snow is gone cause no tow truck in their right mind will tow me in this weather.  Not to mention the storm we have coming tomorrow that I hope will be nice and light but it isn't looking like that will be the case.

Hopefully soon I will have some photos of the snow.  Anyways other than snow my life has been very low key... I guess again it kinda needs to be when you don't have a car, no way to get places.
